I would love you to come on-board and send me some images, locations or texts of your plastic bag finds, actions or collections. This will not take much of your time, contribute your work to the site and carry out an action that makes a small difference some of the images can be seen at the corridors and cuttings sister link , please send to the following email address I look forward to hearing from you soon.
In 2005 I started to become interested in roads, lanes and motorways, triggered by an exhibition at OVADA in Oxford. Ideas started simmering and Corridors and Cuttings was born. Amongst the work was an action in which I made daisy chains on a roundabout. Why are roundabouts so tedious and boring and why do local councils always seem to think we need a piece of permanent public art in the middle of them, why not have more planting such as wild flowers or daffodils. Its early for Daffs but mine are appearing along with Snow drops and crocuses.
